We acquired new insights and knowledge about the synergetic effects and the complex structural interactions in and between plant, herb as well as fruit extracts. Paired with a better understanding of the holistic view and practice of Ayurveda in respect to health and well-being,we started to develop the first health solutions. With a diverse team of international team of experts, the power of nature has been combined with innovative technologies and methods to optimize the bioavailability and efficacy of ingredients. Right from the beginning we have and continue to test, all the ingredients by ourselves, as well as ensuring quality and ethical framing practice.
With a growing frustration we realised that most of the products in the market were either sold in an unattractive form of pills or tablet, based on mainly synthetic vitamins, or delivered only marginal value and results to the customer.
This was unacceptable for and we decided to change the situations and do things differently! The search for innovative ideas, concepts and solutions took as to countries near and afar.
With a foundation of passion, excitement, a great deal of craziness for health innovation and guided by our social compass, we have embarked on a journey to develop innovative and highly effective solutions, supporting an active, healthy, and overall a joyful lifestyle. As long terms friends and business partners, with over 30 years of international entrepreneurial activity in the Life Science, Health and Aesthetic sector, we assessed critically the state of the health-food supplement market.
Our customers entrust us by choosing our health solutions. Through close collaboration with our partners do we pursue “proactive quality control” of our ingredients and the final solution we provide. We do not rely solely on the common cyclical control mechanism but intensify and extend our controls by incorporating latest technologies and novel indicators. Quality control does of course also include the ongoing improvement of ingredients and final solutions.

Good Health and Well-Being
The UN defines the ensuring of health and well-being in our society as fundamental and foundational pillar of the sustainable development goals. Without health and well-being, people have only marginal capacity to actively participate in sustainable development efforts or create novel ideas, which might lead to the development of innovative concepts to make our planet and society more sustainable. UR-Vitality² pursues multiple pathways to contribute to the health and well-being. Directly of course, by providing solutions which support the health and well-being in our society so people can engage with full energy and mental capacity in efforts towards sustainable development. But this is of course only one part of a structural or systemic issue. Access to, and pursuit of health and well-being is also deeply rooted in established institutional configurations, the norms, value and beliefs in our society. We have decided to work with capable NGOs and local CSOs, which focus their efforts to challenge and remove institutional barriers to health and well-being. This is especially pervasive across Asian countries, where formal and informal norms and rules prevent women from gaining access to health service, healthy food or to improvement of their health and well-being. These institutional barriers effect of course also the children of these women, particular in the early years of psychological and physiological development. Being deprived or limited of the opportunities to provide healthy food and a healthy environment for themselves and for their children, is arguably one of the most human tragedies of our time, in midst of plenty and relentless technological progress. Gender Equality, health, well-being and economic, social development are interconnected. One, cannot be achieved with the others.
Decent Work and Economic Growth
According to the UN, COVID-19 had a substantial economic negative effect for Billions of people around the globe. The IMF expects even a worse economic crisis then the 2009 recession. Through our community of health entrepreneurs, UR-Vitality² promotes and strengthens entrepreneurship. The growth of the dynamic small and medium business is an important pillar of our economy. It is certainly taken with a bitter taste, that during COVID-19, the health solution and supplement sector witnessed an exponential growth as one of the view markets. From our perspective, growth of more health entrepreneurs causes an important systemic and spill-over effect. The more health entrepreneurs we have, the more likely we can lower the burden of our health system, by having more active people educating the public about preventive health measure and alternative pathways to ensure health and well-being. Having more people being informed about prevention, being healthier, they can contribute to the economic and social development of a state.

Only through collaboration between actors from the private and public sphere, research, and social sector, can progress be made towards the sustainable development gaols. We are conscious about the urgent need to work close within an eco-system of actors, which will create emerging ideas and similar create communities of practice to implement and learn together form novel approaches which might lead to the necessary critical mass towards systemic change. We are also aware of the need for a strong cooperative mind-set, market actors have to trade competitive mind-set for co-creating towards sustainable development. We create community of practice places, where multiple, often competing perspectives, differences in norms and values, being surfaced and utilized for the greater good of our planet and society.
